Cheryl Kay Strock, 40 of DeLand passed away December 16, 2014 at Florida Hospital DeLand. She was born in DeLand on May 10, 1974 and was a lifetime resident. Cheryl loved being a Mom, with her son being her life. She is survived her parents Teresa and Anthony Vellake of DeLand; her son Justin Strock of DeLand; brothers John Kanger and Keith Welch, both of DeLand and maternal grandparents Charles and Eleanor Edwards of DeLand. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 19th from 6-8pm at the Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in DeLand. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 9am at Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand. Online condolences may be made at www.allensummerhillfuneralhome.com.
