Dorothy Schamay Obituary

Dorothy Ann Ziebarth Schamay was born August 14, 1937 in Palatka, Florida and raised in Pierson. While married she lived in various states across the country, including Utah and Hawaii before resettling in Volusia County. She was a mother, an RN, friend, volunteer and care giver. She was active in the Catholic Church. After struggling with her health for the last 9 years she died peacefully May 30, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange, Fl. Hospice provided the much needed support, care and compassion during Mom's journey. She is survived by her son, Scott Schamay, her daughter Susan Schamay and her brother, Bill Ziebarth. Heaven gained another angel.
