Douglas Mitchell Grow, 65, of DeLand, FL passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at his home. Douglas was born in DeLand, FL on July 4, 1949 and lived in West Volusia County all of his life. He was a member of the Kepler Road Baptist Church in DeLand, FL and loved to cook, fish and watch NASCAR and football. Douglas is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Kimberly Grow; daughter, Amanda Ricketson of Callahan, FL; brother Donald Grow of DeLand, FL and 3 grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in DeLand, FL. A funeral service will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand, FL with Reverend Jerry Durden Officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand, FL. Online condolences may be left at www.allensummerhillfuneralhome.com.
