Ellen Mae Moon

Ellen Mae Moon, 78 of Orange City passed away March 27, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Daytona Beach. She was born on September 13, 1939 in Elkins, West Virginia. She was the owner of Ms. Ellen's Ceramics in Orange City and she and her husband, Ben, also owned Orange City Auto Parts. She enjoyed bowling, singing, ceramics and fishing. Ellen loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and traveling to West Virginia. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ben; son Benjamin C. Moon, Jr (Linda) of Orange City; daughters April Justison (Joshua) of DeLand, FL and Marjorie Taylor (John) of Osteen, FL; brother Frank Daniels of Elkins, WV; grandchildren C.J. Creech, Nichole Ressler, Gage Hutson, Kirsty Hutson, Summer Moon and Justin Moon and 9 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 4th at 12noon at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand, with a visitation from 10-12 prior to service.
