Aaron Tefft Obituary

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Aaron Michael Tefft (Artie), age 40 our beloved son, brother, father, family member and friend entered the gates of heaven unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Those who knew Aaron, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

He is survived by his parents, Douglas Sr. and Kathy Tefft, his brother Josh Tefft, his sister's Tracy Hulbert, Nora House, Rebekah Becker and Ashley Land, his daughter Scarlett Tefft and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Aaron was predeceased by his grandparents, Jean and Paul Livingston and Alice Tefft and his beloved brothers Douglas Jr and Chad Tefft. We know he is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

Aaron was born in Boynton Beach, FL and spent most of his adolescent years in Deland, FL. He lived in various other places throughout his life, but he always returned home to be close to his family.

Aaron was introduced to the tree industry at a very young age. He instantly fell in love with it which paved the way for his lifetime career. It was no surprise to anyone that his entrepreneurial spirit led him to start a family owned business with his best friend's, Douglas (dad) & Joshua (brother) Tefft. Aaron had a passion for building relationships which launched their business to become one of the leading tree companies in Central Florida. Aaron loved to climb, and he was skilled in every aspect of the business. He was no stranger to hard work and knowing how to get the job done.

Aaron was a charming, simple, yet adventurous man with a huge heart. He enjoyed all the small things in life, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. There wasn't a day that went by where he didn't acknowledge the fact that becoming a father was the best thing he ever did. He loved his daughter Scarlett (Lollipop) with all his heart and he constantly talked about how proud he was of her. He would do anything to spend time with her and make her laugh.

Aaron proudly acknowledged that that the most influential people in his life were his parents, Douglas Sr. and Kathy Tefft. He admired them for their perseverance and their ability to put faith and family first. Their love towards each other taught him how to love unconditionally and he never cast judgement on others. He would befriend anyone that needed him, even if it meant he was left with nothing.

We will remember Aaron for his undeniable charm and quirky sense of humor. He always managed to make those that loved him smile. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family, but we know in our hearts that he is in resting peace with his Heavenly Father.
