Annemarie Lesiak

Annemarie Lesiak, age 95,of Orange City, Fla, passed away peacefully on Jan.31st, 2019 at the gold choice ALF in Deltona, Fla. Annemarie was born in Munich, Germany on Feb. 23rd, 1923. She is preceded in death by her husband John. She is survived by her children, Jean Belden and Roman Lesiak, five grandchildren , three great grandchildren, and her loyal friend, George Gornatti. Annemarie and John came to the United States in 1951 and resided in NYC, then to Plainville, Ct. and ultimately to Deltona, Fla. She has had many occupations including working as a secretary at the United Nations in NYC. She also worked at Spector Freight in Plainville, Ct as a switchboard operator and at Pells Nursery as a retail clerk in Osteen, Fla.
She had a special love for animals and enjoyed ballroom dancing well into her 80s. The family would like to thank the staff at Gold Choice and Kindred Hospice for their loving care of Annemarie. Memorial services will be held at Allen Summerhill Funeral Home Orange City on Saturday, Feb. 9th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kindred Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
