Annette J. Lyon, born in Lewiston Maine to Rita Gagnon Fitzsimmons and Joseph P. Fitzsimmons, passed away at Halifax Health Hospice Care with her family and friends by her side. She fought pancreatic cancer bravely for 7 months before she lost her battle. Annette loved family and everyone she met became a friend. Her family used to tease her that she would talk to rocks if no one was around. Lawn sales were a passion. Playing cards was her favorite thing to do with friends. She is survived by her husband George Lyon, Jr., married 27 years; her children Jenny Nichols, George Lyon, III, Justine Gosselin, Sonya Lionel, Ronnie Gosselin and adopted daughter Trudie Wagner and son-in-law Joshua Wagner. Mother Rita Fitzsimmons; sisters Lee Tozier of Kentucky, Nina Rankin of Maine, Marie Lizotte and husband Reed of Maine; brothers Joe Fitzsimmons, Jr. of Maine and Mike Fitzsimmons of Maine. She was predeceased by her father Joe Fitzsimmons and brother Herbert Fitzsimmons. A Celebration of Annette's Life will take place Wednesday, October 18th at 5:30pm at the clubhouse at 1065 S.
