BARBARA EBERSOLE OBIT
Barbara J. (B.J.) Ebersole, 67 of DeLand passed away on March 22, 2012 at the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Care Center in Orange City. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas on October 29, 1944 and was a lifetime resident of West Volusia and a graduate of Taylor High School in Pierson. B.J. worked in the healthcare industry. She enjoyed her family and friends, working with stained glass, growing plants, collecting Indian jewelry and collecting natural crystals. She is survived by her mother Ruth Ellis and step-father Lloyd of Port Orange; daughters Tanya Ebersole of Glenwood, Chanda Dawley and husband Steve of South Daytona and Christin Westbay of Glenwood; brothers Clyde Vincent Hallman and wife Rosemary of South Daytona and James Gary Hallman of Rocklin, California, 3 grandchildren, Sydnie Creech, Logan Creech and Landon Westbay, nephew Clyde Hallman and wife Jessie and her beloved cat Chloe. She was predeceased by her father, Lt. James Wiley Hallman of Pierson and grandson Derek Westbay. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24th at 3pm at the Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand. Online condolences may be made at
