Bryan Follmar

Bryan Follmar, DeLand Native, peacefully began a new journey on Friday, September 3, 2021, while surrounded by love and support from his family. Born on April 22, 1998, Bryan's first loves were swimming every chance he could, and building special bond with animals. Later, his love of Transformers, Marvel, and DC characters were favorite topics of Bryan's, and would provide many hours of discussions with his family, as well as others who were drawn to Bryan's caring and loving demeanor. He enjoyed each day thoroughly, but family get-togethers and vacations were especially wonderful moments for Bryan and his family, and he spread happiness and light everywhere that he went with them. He is survived by his father, Charles Follmar; his mother and step-father Sandra and Paul Swarts; his brother Dalton Follmar; grandparents John and Barbara Follmar and Edna Jones; uncles and aunts Raymond and Karen Beach, Jr., John and Jennifer Beach, John Follmar, Jr., and Ken and Janelle Nasar; and many loving cousins. He will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and his light will shine bright as a diamond down to them from his brilliant star in the heavens. Flowers are welcome, or in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to local Autism associations, local animal shelters, or a local Humane Society would also be cherished by the family.
