Carolyn Naser Obituary

Carolyn M. Naser, born in Asbury Park, NJ on September 27, 1925, passed away at the age of 92 on September 7th. She is the widow of George A. Naser, deceased, a World War II Navy Veteran. They were married 51 years. Mrs. Naser was a homemaker. She resided at Villa Health and Rehab, DeLand. In retirement, she lived many years in Franklin, NC and prior to that resided in New Smyrna Beach, FL. She was a graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School. Carolyn Naser was a member of Stetson Baptist Church, DeLand, and for many years, First Baptist Church of New Smyrna Beach. Survivors include two children: a son, Kenneth G. Naser (Janelle) of DeLand, and daughter, Diane E. Simmons of DeLand. She has three granddaughters: Paula Davis of St. Petersburg, Genevieve Harper of DeLand and Nicole Naser of Miami. Mrs. Naser was also predeceased by a grandson, David Simmons. She also had four great-granddaughters, Lindsey Castaneda (deceased), Andrea Castaneda, Kaila Campbell and Maia Campbell, and one surviving sister, Mary Traverso of New Jersey. The family wishes to thank the staff at Villa Health and Rehab for the years of care she received while a resident. There will be a private service at a later date.
