Cherill Beach Obituary
Cherill Dianne Beach,72, of Deland, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2021, at
Halifax Hospice Center, Orange City, Florida. Cherill was a resident of Paisley, Florida at the time of passing. Cherill was preceded in death by two husbands, Richard "Rick" Shreve and Edward "Bob" Beach; two sons, Billy Shreve and Robert Beach; and daughter, Mitzi Pitzer.
Cherill was born on February 25, 1949 to the late Edgar Donald Miles Jr. and Norma Lee Staton. She graduated in 1967 from Taylor High School in Pierson, Florida. Cherill resided in Deland, Florida for most of her life. She is well known for her work at H & R Block and her long tenure at Brunswick Corporation/General Dynamics and Matrix Composites in Brevard County. Cherill loved to travel, go on cruises and camp with her family, especially in the rain. She always said "the rain cleanses the earth and us as well".
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Lynn Shreve of Paisley, Florida and Tia Rochelle Wilkinson of Debary, Florida; a sister, Juanita Miles of St. Augustine, Florida; three brothers, Don Miles (Karen) of Valdosta, Georgia, Roger Miles (Candi) of Kenna, West Virginia, and James Miles (Kathleen) of Somers, Montana; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home at 126 E New York Avenue, Deland, Florida. The celebration of life service will follow at 10:00 a.m. There will be no graveside service
