Christine Harden Obituary
Christine Harden, 81 went to be with the Lord Friday, January 26 surrounded by her daughters.
Born October 15, 1936 to Steve and Rosebud Harris, Christine was a lifetime resident of DeLand, FL. She graduated from DeLand High School in 1955 and was a homemaker before working for the Volusia County School Food Service for 20 years. She retired in 1990 to watch her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Stetson Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Quincy Harden and is survived by her daughters Sue Wilson (Lavon), JoAnn Harden, Donna Conerly (Byron), five grandchildren Emily Santora (Joshua), Whitney Chong (Kevin), Tracie Bobbe (Jacob), Aidan and Ethan Conerly and great grandchild Jonah Santora.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 2nd at 11 a.m. at Stetson Baptist Church, Dr. Dan Glenn officiating. Family will begin receiving visitors at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stetson Baptist Christian School or Stetson Baptist Music Ministry, 1025 W. Minnesota Ave. DeLand, FL 32720.
