Claude "Baby" Carlisle, 84, passed peacefully July 9th, 2018. Claude was a graduate of Taylor High School, in Pierson Florida, where he met his sweetheart and lifetime love, Loette Dees at the age of 16. After a 4-year courtship, the two were married December 24, 1953. "Baby" was preceded in death by Loette Carlisle 26 days to the day of his passing. He was also preceded in death by his oldest son Ronnie Carlisle, his brother Bobby Carlisle and sister Martha Maryes. He is survived by his son Randall Carlisle and wife Rebecca Carlisle, Grand-daughters, Tenille Coleman, Courtney, Bailey and Megan Carlisle, Cheyanne and Ashley McCloy. Great Grand-daughters Riley Coleman, Nikayla Carlisle and Adecyn Daniels.
Claude known only as "Baby" in Pierson, was a fern grower for most of his life and remained a part of the community until his passing. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Pierson. His favorite past time was spending time with his wife Loette and fishing.
We will forever miss "Baby", but are comforted knowing that a love that began in Pierson 68 years ago continues on. "Baby" and Loette are together and they are forever free from pain and at peace.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday July 17, 2018 at The First Baptist Church, Pierson, Florida. Burial in the Methodist cemetery Pierson, Florida. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Allen Summerhill Funeral Home, Deland Florida. Online condolences may be made at
