Cynthia Purdee Obituary
Cynthia Schmiedecke Purdee, daughter of Raymond and Vivian Schmiedecke, joined her parents in Heaven on September 24th, 2021.
She is survived by her husband Charles, daughters Melissa and Jaimie, son Dustin, grandchildren Dillon, Allison, Dustin Jr., Frank, Vincent, Madeline, and Hope of DeLand, aunt Rosalie of Charleston, SC, sister Sandra of Port Charlotte, FL, brother Raymond of El Cajon, CA, and her nieces and nephews, Brian, Krystle, Kenny, and Kristin.
For 66 years of life, she was selflessly devoted to the love, health, and care of others as a mother, grandmother, daughter, big sister, nurse, and friend.
She was a member of The Pentecostals of DeLand, where she worshipped her Lord and Savior, faithfully every Sunday. Cyndie traveled a journey that most people wouldn't have the strength to travel, and she traveled it with grace and compassion. She gave her time and resources even when she didn't have it to give, and never thought twice about helping someone else in need. She was the prime example of a Christian. Her forgiving nature allowed her to always see the best in others, loving everyone she knew through all their hardships, family or not. She was truly a gem and a treasure to everyone that ever knew her, and she will forever live on in all our hearts.
Services will be held at The Pentecostals of DeLand, 1640 E Voorhis Avenue, on Saturday, October 9th at 10 A.M.
