Doris A. Abbott

Doris A. Abbott, 93 of 1200 North Stone St. DeLand Florida, died after a long period of declining health on March 31, 2020. She was born on October 24, 1926 in Berlin, NH. She was the daughter of Louis and Alida Fauteaux LeBlanc. She lived most of her life in Manchester, NH and retired to Lake Monroe, Florida with her late husband, George J. Abbott Sr in 1985. Prior to her retirement she worked in various industries including cosmetic sales and insurance. She was a member of All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford, Florida. Family members include her niece, Dr. Nancy Labore and her husband Raymond of Goffstown, NH, step son George Abbott Jr and his wife Anne Marie of Bluffton, SC, and several nieces and nephews. She was a deeply religious, kind and loving aunt, step mother and friend. Her consistent advice to loved ones was to " take care of each other". She will always be in our thoughts and hearts. Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, DeLand, is in charge of arrangements. Services will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
