Eric Martin Hildebrand, 61 passed away on December 27, 2021. Eric was born in DeLand on October 2, 1960 and was a 1978 graduate of DeLand High School. He worked for the City of DeLand in water operations before joining the United States Navy for 5 years. He then settled in Mississippi, where he was a supervisor at a water treatment plant for 21 years before retiring to the DeLand area. Eric loved nature and building models. He was also an artist and history buff. He is survived by his sisters Holly Lopenski and Anita Braddock and nieces Aubrey Turner and Cameron Hensley. Allen-Summerhill DeLand is in charge.
