Frances Buckels Obituary

Frances M. Buckels, 85 of Pierson, passed away January 7, 2019 at AdventHealth DeLand. She was born in Barberville on December 2, 1933 and a retired deputy clerk for the City of Jacksonville. After moving back to Pierson she worked at Fox Cunningham Firestone and for William and Julie Puckett in Barberville. Frances was a member of First Baptist Church of Pierson. She is survived by her sister-in-law Janet Buckels and nieces Janet M. Carey and Pamela Ann Hainsel-Chernikoff. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 11am at First Baptist Church of Pierson, with a visitation from 10:30-11am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Purdom Cemetery in Barberville. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made at www.allensummerhill.com.
