Franklyn Rojas Obituary
Franklyn Rafael Rojas, 47, of Pierson, FL, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at
his home. Mr. Rojas was born October 11, 1963 in the Dominican Republic and
moved to central Florida in 1991 from Linden, NJ. He was director of maintenance
for Oakwood Gardens in DeLand and director of maintenance at Woodland Towers
for 5 years. Mr. Rojas attended Riverside Military Academy in Georgia. He enjoyed
motorcyle riding, hunting, Nascar, Mustangs, RV camping and raising his animals.
Frank always enjoyed helping others in need. He is survived by his wife of 16 years,
Edna; his mother, Lourdes A. Rojas of Deltona; sons Franklyn Rafael Rojas, Jr.,
step-sons, Anthony Richard Garcia and Robert William Garcia; daughter, Jasmine
Marie Rojas of Pierson; brother, Francisco Felix Rojas; sister, Maria Milagro Rojas of
Delaware and grandchildren, Isabella, Robert William, Jr. and Angelo Garcia. There
will be a gathering of friends Sunday, August 7, 2011 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the
Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home Orange City. The service will be held 10 am
Monday, August 8, 2011 at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel Orange City with
Pastor Jorge Amaro officiating. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery.
