Gregory "Greg" K. Jeffrey, 65, of DeLand, Florida gained his heavenly wings on July 1, 2021, at home surrounded by loving wife, his puppies, family and friends
Greg served in the U.S. Navy, and upon his discharge, he began his career in the construction business.
Greg was interested in the world around him and was always eager to strike up a conversation with whomever he met. He loved fishing, car racing, old western movies, and most of all family gatherings.
Greg will be remembered for his acts of kindness and generosity toward all walks of life, including family and friend. His smile and sense of humor will be missed.
Greg was a fiercely devoted family man and leaves behind his true love and wife of 39 years, June Jeffrey; his daughter, Kristina "Kristy" Jeffrey, who was the light of his life, and his puppies who he absolutely adored. He also leaves behind two brothers, Kenneth Mounts, Randy Jeffrey and many nieces and nephews whom held a special place in his heart. Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Nick Mounts, his sister Marilyn Detty, his father Dempsey Jeffrey and his mother Phyllis Jeffrey.
Greg was known for his optimism, kindness and tenacious attitude for what he believed in. His integrity, charter and positivity left a lasting impact of his friend and family.
A celebration of life service is scheduled for 3pm Saturday, July 24th at Allen Summerhill Memorial Chapel, DeLand.
