Jacqeulyn Tharp Obituary
Harold and Jackie went home to be with the Lord within six days of each other. They were both born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. They married October 9, 1954.
In 1970 they relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, as employees of AT&T and remained there until their retirement in 1985. Harold and Jackie retired to Deland in 1986, where they were active members of the First United Methodist Church.
They were a loving and devoted husband and wife, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, great grandfather and great grandmother. They are survived by two daughters, Robin (Mark) Worrell of Wellington, FL, Karen (Jim) Pasquith of Holly Springs, GA, and two sons, Gene (Julie) Tharp of Oviedo, FL, and Randy (Angela) Tharp of St. Augustine, FL. Harold and Jackie had nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the following: The Parkinson's Foundation or the United Methodist Children's Home.
