John Stanley Nutting

John Stanley Nutting, 72, a lifelong resident of DeLand, passed away on October 12, 2021. He was born on October 27, 1948 and graduated from DeLand High School in 1967. John was a Master Electrician, who took over the family business, Nutting Electric, in 1991. He loved to hunt and fish, and would travel the country to go on fishing trips. He loved to be with his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John Charles and Fannie Mae Nutting. He is survived by his son David Nutting (Melissa) of DeBary; daughter Sarah Johnston (Brent) of Madison, AL and grandchildren Jacob and Olivia Nutting and Lauren, Emma Rae and Allyn Johnston. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 30 at 12noon at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel, with a visitation from 10am-12pm prior to the service.
