Katherine Sylvester Obituary
Katherine (Kathy) Elaine Sylvester, born in Deland, Florida on March 21, 1961 passed away on September 4, 2019 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland, Florida. Kathy is survived by sons Andrew and Richard of Lakeland, mother Patricia Ann Sylvester, sisters Susan (Kenny) Wilson and Sharon (Alan) Teal of DeLand and Kimberly (Howard) Sheppard of Deltona, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her father Jimmie Sylvester, Sr. and brother Jimmie Sylvester, Jr.
Kathy was a 1979 graduate of Taylor High School in Pierson, Florida and made her home in Lakeland, Florida for the past 25 years. A memorial will be held for her friends in Lakeland at a later date.
In DeLand, visitation will be Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at Allen Summerhill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10am at Allen Summerhill Funeral Home followed by internment at Deland Memorial Gardens.
