Marjorie Lavonne Keyser Ide, 83, of Orange City, passed away June 26 in Palatka, Florida. Marjorie was the loving wife of James; the loving mother of Patti and Douglas; and the loving grandmother to Mariah, Ariel, Bryce and Payton.
She was born to the late Thomas and Katherine Keyser, June 19, 1937, in Mazomanie, Wisconsin. She has four sisters: Charlotte Lohr, Kay Schara, RoseEllen Goss and Lois Pentico(deceased). Marjorie went to beauty school in Milwaukee, WI and owned and operated her own hair salons in both Wisconsin and Florida. She also worked as a school bus driver and crossing guard.
Marjorie loved to travel and take care of her grandchildren. She always had a kind word to say about everyone and was an expert seamstress, even making her daughter's wedding dress. Marjorie was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. As her health declined, she kept a positive attitude and never gave up. Marjorie had a beautiful spirit that forever will light up her family's lives.
