Nancy M. Hogle, 89, passed quietly on June 24, 2019, at her family home in DeLand, Florida. Nancy was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on March 3, 1930 and moved here in 1946 from Worcester, Massachusetts with her parents Edmund and Alberta Hogle. She lived an amazingly full life as a professional entertainer, with a passion for singing and acting. She had her own radio show, and was a Delta Flight Attendant in the 50's. She spent nearly 60 years as a kindergarten schoolteacher in Volusia County. Nancy was a member of the Eastern Star (50+ years), Delta Kappa Gamma, Florida Retired Teachers Assoc., President of the Volusia County Kindergarten Association and the National Education Association. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, was a board member and teacher at the First Presbyterian Day School and was active in the choir. Her interest included family, collecting, travelling, and sports. She went skydiving at the age of 70. She would burst out in song at every opportunity and brought smiles to everyone she met. Nancy made a difference in everyone's life. Nancy is survived by her three children, Ed Hogle, Stephanie Hogle Starling, and Laura Hogle Paleveda and 5 grandchildren.
