Neale Hood Obituary

Neale Rielly Hood, 81 of DeLand passed away May 5, 2019 at the Halifax Heath Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Care Center in Orange City. He was born in Hudson, NY on May 18, 1937 and served in the United States Navy. Neale was a mechanic and moved to West Volusia in 1966 from Castleton, NY. He was a member of the Love Lutheran Church in East Greenbush, NY and the Elks Club. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, bowling and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beverly; sons Robin Lawrence Hood (Beth) of Jacksonville and Scott Hood of Palm Coast; daughters Penny Hood of DeBary and Hope Taylor (Donny) of DeBary; brother Peter Hood of Clermont, FL and 8 grandchildren.
