Paulette J. Smith, 57 of DeLand passed away at her home on March 22, 2012. She was born in Arkansas on May 12, 1954. She retired in 2007 from the Alliance Center as a certified nurses assistant. Paulette loved flowers, finding free things and arguing. She is survived by her life partner of 15 years, Jesse Oglesby; son Robert Eugene "Bo" Smith, Jr. of North Carolina; daughters Christina Sherman , Jessica Oglesby, Tonya Saxon and Bobbi Gene Jefferson, all of Florida; brothers Corbet Jordan, Henry Jordan, James Jordan and Charles Jordan, sisters Diane, Mary and Glenda; Kristin Potter, Travis Burrell, John Garrett Sherman, Jr. , Heather Lee Sherman, Brady Arnold, Jay Lawrence Saxon, Katlin Marie Lawrence Saxon, Brittany Ann Smith, Kayley Jefferson, Gary Jefferson, McKensey Smith, Robert Smith, Jr. and Bruce May Smith and great-grandchild Conner Stuff.
