Ronald Woodrum Obituary

Ronald Steven Woodrum, 78, of DeLand, passed away peacefully on October 25 th , 2021, in DeLand, Florida, with his wife, Ann, and his daughter, Sherri, by his side. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 18 th , 1943 to John Raleigh Woodrum, Sr. and Annie Laurie Woodrum, and he moved to DeLand in 1982. He was a devoted husband of 40 years, an amazing father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a successful landscape and irrigation designer for Reynolds, Smith and Hill for more than 50 years in the Jacksonville and DeLand area. After retiring, he enjoyed more time landscaping, gardening, spending time with family, and traveling. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Annie Laurie Woodrum and John Raleigh Woodrum, Sr. and his brother, Gary Wayne Woodrum. Survivors include his beloved wife, Ann Clark Woodrum of DeLand, FL; daughter Sherri Lee Paschal, (Robert) of Tomball, TX; grandchildren: Trevor Mathew Woodrum (Katie) of Tomball, TX and Zach Steven Gamber of Tomball, TX.; great grandchildren: Benjamin and Nathan of Tomball, TX; brother, John Raleigh Woodrum, Jr. (Judy) of Savannah, GA; brother, Larry Richard Woodrum (Sylvia) of Jacksonville, FL; brother-in-law, Alford Collier Clark Jr. (Jan) of Tallahassee, Florida. A memorial service will be held at Allen Summerhill Funeral Home, 126 E. New York Ave., DeLand, FL 32724 on November 4th. Visitation will be from 1-2pm, followed by a service at 2pm.
