Sharon L. Nead, 76 of DeLand passed away December 25, 2018 at Florida Hospital DeLand. She was born on March 5, 1942 in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. Sharon spent many years in Manitowoc and Green Bay, Wisconsin before coming to DeLand in 2004 from Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Sharon was an employee at Wal-Mart for 23 years and a member of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed gardening, golf cart rides, bird watching, nightly ice cream and most of all making people smile. She was predeceased by her husband of 31 years, Clyde Nead, Jr., father Ernest Bell, son-in-law Guy Courchaine and granddaughter Hailey Courchaine. Survivors include her mother Lois Bell of Orange City; daughters Debra Hall (David) of Orange City, Lisa Courchaine of Green Bay, WI and Kim Landry of Green Bay, WI; brother Keith Bell of Wrightstown, WI; 9 grandchildren, Jennifer Hall Kyp, Stephanie Hall, John Hall, Windy Hall Williams, Miranda Courchain, Hailey Courchaine, Amy Landry Van Roy, Ali Landry, and Kaitlyn Landry Halron and 11 great-grandchildren, Ian, Hailey, Mason, Colten, Nahlia, Noah, Kira, Naomi, Addy, Lana and Hank. There will be a Gathering of Friends on Thursday, January 3rd from 11-1pm with a memorial service at 1 pm at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand. Online condolences may be made at
