Tonya Kay Owen

Tonya Kay Owen, 42, of Pierson, FL, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June, 22, 1976. She was a Daughter, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother and Friend to many. She left behind 4 children, Christopher, Thomas, Brooke, and Courtney, along with 3 grandchildren, Jayleyn, Gatlen, and Gunnar. She grew up in Orlando, FL along with her Sisters, Janice, Tina, Jennifer, Crystal and Mother Charlotte. She had many Nieces and Nephews that loved her. She had a degree in Business Administration and Nursing. Which led to her career as a Consultant, which allowed her to travel the United States. She was a loving and caring person. She lived her life full but it was way to short. She loved shopping, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved mud bogging with her family and friends. She was always the person that people could go to for advice or even just the truth. She was very honest. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. A Gathering of Friends will be held on Saturday, February 2nd starting at 2pm at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand.
