William Frank Motl

William Frank "Bill" Motl, 83, of Deland, Florida passed away on November 7, 2021. Bill was born in Britton, SD on April 11, 1938. He is survived by his wife, Liz Motl, brother James Motl, daughters Linda Drummond, Donna Rodgers, Debbie Foster, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and his daughter, Pamela Westberry. Bill was retired from Winn Dixie where he served 38 years as a supervisor in the Print Shop. He and his wife of 56 years, Liz, resided in Jacksonville, FL for much of their early life together and then spent many years enjoying life on the river in Welaka, FL before moving to Deland, FL in 2019. Bill was a man of many talents and hobbies including carpentry, building, gardening, fishing, shrimping and crabbing. He and Liz attended Liberty Independent Baptist Church in Deland. Bill was a loving and devoted husband and father to his wife and four girls who will miss him terribly until they are reunited. A memorial service will be held at San Mateo Church of God, 102 Ivey Rd., San Mateo, FL 32187 on Monday, November 15th, at 11:30am (viewing from 11:00-11:30am). Internment at Eden Cemetery in Crescent City at 1pm.
