Charles Lee (Scott) Arlotta

Charles Lee “Charlie” Arlotta, 89 of DeLand passed away September 28, 2023 at Woodland Towers. She was born in Greenville, SC on September 18, 1934 and moved to DeLand in 1988 from Miami. Charlie taught kindergarten at Broadmore Baptist Church in Miami and was a member of Stetson Baptist Church in DeLand. She enjoyed reading. She was predeceased by her son Douglas Arotta. Survivors include her husband 72 years, Rudy; son Bert Arlotta (Ofelia); daughter Claudia Clark (Dan); grandchildren Jack Clark, Kaitlyn Arlotta, and Renee and great-grandchildren Dominic Clark and Gareth Clark. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd at 10am at Stetson Baptist Church, with the family receiving friends from 9-10am prior to the service. A fellowship will follow the service at the church. Interment will be at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
