Jonathan Edward Scott

Jonathan Scott, 42 of DeLand passed away suddenly on March 19, 2024, at his residence. Jonathan was born in Somerset, Kentucky on May 7, 1981, and is a United States Army Veteran. Jonathan had been married to the late Holly Scott and is survived by their daughter Emily. He embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit and an unending generosity that could be seen in his daily care for his elderly grandmother. Jonathan was curious and his inquisitiveness and keen intellect drove all his pursuits. Jonathan had immense passion for his family, music, and animals. Jonathan was predeceased by his father, Robert Scott. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Scott, grandmother, Barbara Ford, brother, Sean Walker, sister, Brigette Aldrich,  uncle, Robert Ford, uncle, Cliff Owens, aunt Uma Reed, aunt, Sue Lee, aunt, Brenda Watkins, aunt, Laura Hardwick, and aunt, Barbara Gibson. His sudden departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound and is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved Jonathan deeply.
