Kenneth Eugene Noel

Kenneth E. Noel, 52, passed away peacefully May 19, 2023 at his residence in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He is survived by his parents Larry and Carol (Dupuis) Noel, brother Kevin (Teryn) Noel, Ormond Beach and sister Stephanie (Darin) Coddington, Orange City and several nieces and nephews. Ken was born in Findlay, Ohio in 1970. He became a Volusia County, Florida resident when he was 15 years old. The primary word Ken used to describe himself was resilient. Those who knew him would agree but also add kind, loving, hard working, easy going, patient & a fun loving guy. Ken relished his independence. Ken’s love for the ocean began with surfing. He became quite skilled at sailing as well. Ken received an A.O.S. Culinary Arts degree in 1991 from Johnson & Wales University. Ken has been employed since he was 16 years old in the hospitality industry in Volusia County. Ken was a skilled bartender & very entertaining to watch. He was also a great cook & kitchen manager/chef as well. His co-workers as well as customers benefitted from his personality & hard work for36 years. Ken loved the ocean and it will be his resting place in a private Celebration of Life in June. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family suggests that you enjoy lunch with someone you love at your favorite restaurant. Ken would most likely tell you to leave a nice tip and compliment the kitchen staff! The family wishes to thank all of you who shared memories & comforting words thru various means.
