Willard Elias Bryan, Jr.

Willard Elias Bryan, Jr., of Orange City, Florida, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, eleven days shy of his 90th birthday.

Will was born on March 12, 1936 in Patterson, NJ, to the late Willard and Mary Bryan. On November 11, 1956, he married his beloved wife, the late Josephine Caramanna. Together they shared 54 years of marriage.

Will had a long career with Bell South, and enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, weather watching, and ham radio where he would connect overseas military members with their families.

He is survived by his children, Jo Ahearn, Mary Dunn and Chuck Bryan, and preceded in death by his son Will. He is also survived by his many grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including Tracy and Scott Woodruff to whom he was very close.

To honor him, the family will have a private Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Will’s name to The House Next Door in DeLand (www.thehnd.com).
